Schedule:
8:00am - 8:40am: Player check-in (amateur player packs available)
If you need a paper scorecard, please request that at check-in.
· 8:45am: Very brief player meeting.
· 9:00am: Round 1, shotgun start.
· 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Estimated lunch. Lunch will be 1 hour from the last card in.
Round 2 (with starting time) will also be posted to the same site.
For each round, we will blow a horn at the two minute warning (2 blasts) and a horn at the start time (1 blast). IF YOU DO NOT HEAR THE HORN, PLEASE START AT THE TIME STATED IN THE PLAYER MEETING (RD 1) OR IS POSTED ON THE PDGA SITE (RD 2).
A portable restroom is available between Hole 5 and Hole 10.
Parking is VERY tight at Rosedale. We recommend carpooling if you can. Please do not park on the grass or take up extra parking spaces. Be mindful that you should NEVER back into a parking spot at Rosedale, and you should NEVER park at Rosedale with no tags or expired tags.
Course notes:
· They are attached. All players are playing Rosedale – Up Top.
· OB: on or beyond any road/curb/parking lot/painted and flagged OB line; over any fence (806.02). Some holes have additional rules. Please see the attached course notes or your PDGA Digital Scorecard.
· Tees/Baskets: One tee per hole. Baskets that are NOT in play have NOT been covered. Please check the PDGA Digital Scorecard or attached course notes for the correct basket (blue (Hole 4), red (Holes 10, 17), multicolored (Hole 8, Island), or white Veteran (each hole has a white Veteran basket)). No Mach III baskets are in play. If a Mach III is in your way, treat it as a bush.
Other notes:
· All players must keep score. The preferred method is the PDGA App or webapp at PDGA.com/score. The access code is Rosie26. If you need a paper scorecard, please pick it up at check-in.
· If there is a tie for 1st place, there will be a sudden death playoff starting at Hole 1. See MK or Liz before starting the playoff.
· If there are no aces hit, we will have a throw off for the ace fund.
· There are trophies for all winners awarded after round 2. Amateur payout will be posted to Disc Golf Scene and available at either Nexus store.
· Results with payout will be posted to the Disc Golf Scene event page in the Results tab.
· Any amateur from out of town that receives a merchandise payout – please see Liz if you need to use your payout before leaving town. Both Nexus stores are open until 6 pm, but arrangements can be made.
· We play rain or shine, unless there is lightning. In the event of a lightning delay, you will hear three horn blasts. Take shelter for a minimum 30 minute delay. We will communicated via email all re-start times.
