Great question! It would be determined by the division you compete in for your high school which is designated by your coach based on skill level. If you don’t play at your school, you can choose whichever feels most appropriate based on your skill level and experience.
I’d recommend if you play Pdga events and are rated over 850 for mixed and 700 for girls, you would be competitive in varsity. But there are no real restrictions based on age or ratings. Newer players who do not have a rating would likely play JV.

Haha yes that’s what I’m hearing. Hopefully we can change that! The scholastic designation is how Innova has structured these high school championship events that are new this year, scheduled in many states already! Just trying it out and seeing where it goes :)
