An Email Just went out. Check your Span folders if you don't see it in your Inbox
We are a few days away from the Battle at the Bluff. We are monitoring the weather and currently we are expecting about an inch of snow today in West Point and not much else for the rest of the week. Please plan to dress accordingly with shoes that have good tread. Most of the tee pads will be on grass and odds are it will be wet. We are going to do our best to move tee pads around a bit to dryer locations but its never perfect.
The gate should be open in the morning sometime around 7:15 to get into the golf course. Check-in will be inside from 7:30-8:20ish. At 8:30 we will have a MANDATORY players meeting. This is where we will determine if Golf Greens will be OB and Sand traps will be Hazzard. We can't make that determination until we know how much snow (if any) is covering them.
Caddy Book can be found HERE
I wouldn't count on the course being available for practice rounds before the event. If you feel you need to contact the Bluff to try and play a practice round, you may do so. Just be prepared that they may turn you down. The baskets were set in place on Monday, but no tee pads have been marked and won't be until late Friday.
There have been some PDGA Rule Changes this year including a rule that "Thrower no longer votes on determinations". You can see these updates HERE . Please be familiar with the PDGA rules and follow them.
Payouts for Pros will take place immediately after the event. If you finish in the top 40% of your pro field, stick around to collect a check. Ams will be paid out via Infinite Discs Credit within 72 hours of the event.
