F4 kicks back into action tomorrow. Could be a lil fresh snow on the pads before/during the round, so prepare for that. We'll be playing the standard 18 layout, but will mix something else in later in this series. Sign up for 2026 ADGA membership or pay $11 for the round.
Week1 Recap:
We had 14 players come out after the month long league break. Conditions were pretty good, and I think most people took all their plastic home after the round. We used spotters when needed and my card didn't have any issues finding our lil round guys.
A Pool:
Cap G started the round really mediocre shooting -4 on the first half, holes 4-12. I could see his struggles and took it upon my shoulders to lead the way and string together a bunch of birdies so he could draft easily behind me and get back on track. With my help Scott was able to birdie the entire back 9 and finish -13 for the round. Top score overall for the weekend and good for a 1016 rating. I took second in A pool with -11.
B Pool:
Naz says he missed some easy short putts to stumble his way to his 4 stroke win in B pool. After his big win, he told this journalist "B pool life". Unnamed sources say he will be trying for that C pool life in coming weeks. His putting struggles still got him to -11 for the day, good for a tie for second overall, easily 1st in B pool. The AK return of Britton showed a solid performance, especially from long C1/short C2. He's got some sort of snappy putt thing going on that was mostly on target and snagged some solid birdies. He finished at -7 for solo second place in B pool.
C Pool:
Matt was living large in C pool this past weekend. This guy walloped his fellow pool members by 7 strokes. He was the only C pool player to finish his round under par with his -2 which was good for a 861 rating. He played a pretty clean round with only one bogey. Travis and Wilson tied for second place in C pool with their +5s. They got to their scores by much different routes with Travis playing par golf with a handful of bogeys, and Wilson rode the birdie, par, bogey, double bogey roller coaster C pool ride.
Hole 18 was the easiest out there with 10 out of 14 of us getting the birdie. There was one bogey on it tho. I didn't look up who it was cuz I'm sure that poor guy must have lost a dare from his card mate and had to play the hole with off hand rollers only until he got to C1. Don't gamble boys and girls, or this is what happens. Hole 15 was the second easiest with 8 out of 14 birdies and no bogey strokes.
Holes 10, 3, and 4 were the hardest as expected and all played over par. Hole 10 only had one birdie all day. Congrats to Adam! must have been a heck of a drive, or putt, or eyes closed hail mary.
See ya out there tomorrow at 11am sharp!
