The best way to watch a card is to follow them from hole 1. As long as you stay behind the away player you should be good. There may be situations that arise where you are in the line of sight of a player who is preparing to putt. Stand completely still in these situations. Attempting to move will take time and cause a distraction.
It's fine to cheer when you see a great play, but remember that there will be other groups playing in close proximity, keep it in your area.
