Hey Cody! Yeah, it actually did start out as a B-tier. We were getting quite a few people asking if it could be a C-tier though, mainly because they either don’t have a PDGA number or their membership isn’t current. We didn’t want those folks to miss out, so we switched it to a C-tier to open it up and let more people sign up.
That said, Shawn, we’re still running it with a B-tier level feel. The AM player packs and the added cash are both at or above what a B-tier would normally have. The B-tier requirement is $750 added cash, and we’re putting in $1,500. Player packs are sitting around a $120 value too.
So even though we changed the tier to make it more inclusive, we didn’t scale anything back, if anything, we’re still meeting or exceeding B-tier standards. Hope that makes sense, fellas.
shawn ludlow Feb 11Nice, that's good stuff. My home life is falling apart this year, but I'll be there next time. I love the new course!
