After assessing the course yesterday, I feel it is in the best interest of all involved to postpone this Saturday's Ship Rock Triple Play. While the driveway and parking lot have been cleared, a considerable amount of ice covered snow is covering the fairways. Additionally, the creek bed edges are hard to determine due to overhanging snow/ice. Given the nature of the steep slopes, of holes 2 and 11 plus the boulder transition coming off off 12's tee, I don't feel confident it's safe for tournament play.
I would still like to run it this season because I know Mama C's could use the donations but I need to work around the local tournament scene and my own "real world" work schedule so there is no new date currently set.
