Great question. You’re right, the event is a little higher priced than some others, and that’s intentional. We’re putting a lot of focus on making this feel like a true event, not just another tournament on the calendar. That means more attention to detail and more value going straight back to the players.
We updated the flyer on Disc Golf Scene so you can see what’s included, especially the AM player pack. The main pieces are a custom Aero Cup “Cardinal” jersey and a matching Aero Cup hat, and you can preview both on the registration page.
We’re also doing some really unique trophies, not the typical off the shelf stuff. Those we’re keeping as a bit of a surprise.
Everything is fully within PDGA guidelines for a B Tier. We’re just choosing to invest more into the overall experience. Once players see it all come together, I think it’ll make a lot more sense and feel well worth it.
Hope that helps and hope we see you at The Aero Cup!
