Good Afternoon Everyone,
After a lot of discussion and careful consideration among the team, we plan to move forward with the tournament as scheduled.
Current forecasts for Saturday in Sugar Land show daytime temperatures during tournament hours in the mid-50s to low-60s, generally cloudy, with conditions remaining above freezing throughout play. The freeze is currently anticipated later Saturday evening after the tournament concludes, not during competition hours.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely. Player safety remains the priority, and if conditions change overnight and the course becomes icy or unsafe, we will reassess the morning of the event, consistent with standard weather-related safety decisions.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility, especially those traveling in. Any updates will be communicated here and via email if necessary.
