Once you get over the pass you won't have service except at the houses, I'd recommend downloading an offline version of the area before you go over.

That map shows very little detail and Cell Service not very good as soon as you turn the corner down the Colorado river canyon. My suggestion is to read my description of how to get there from Moab in event info, don't depend on your phone. Goggle is not much help you need something like OnX but you don't really need it. Get on Kane Springs Rd and head down river on the Moab side and just stay on the main road to Kane Creek and Hurrah Pass, Don't take any side roads :)
