Extinction: Player 2 is just around the corner, excited to see everyone tomorrow!
PARKING
The gate to the park is closed for the season, meaning we will have to hike into the course. We will have our player meeting near the parking area. There is a pavilion nearby, if it is accessible (and not full of snow), we'll meet there. If not, we will find a very visible meeting area close to the parking lot before we all hike in to move to our starting holes.
WEATHER
I checked in with local players and was told there is about 1-2 feet of snow in the area.
Plan for a winter round: boots, snowpants, and cold-weather attire. Plan to be outside (and away from your vehicle) for the entire event.
We strongly recommend using ribbons for the event! Bring tape and ribbons to set up your discs. We'll be on-site a bit early tomorrow to give everyone lots of time to get their player packs and add ribbons. Pace of play will be important with the colder weather, so let's try to minimize lost discs in any way possible.
SCORING
The first 18 holes will be scored on Udisc. When you check into the event, it will ask you to pick a starting hole. You are free to choose a hole/group. Any players with fewer than 3 people assigned to a hole will be reassigned at the player meeting.

FORMAT
Round 1 - Meet near the parking area at 10:30am
You can only play with the 4 discs that are included in your player pack. The first round is played like a normal round. No OB. Choose your card and starting hole. Shotgun start.
Round 2 - Meet at hole 1 immediately after round 1 (no break)
Sudden Death. Everyone has 3 lives. If you do not tie or have the best score on your card at the end of each hole, you lose a life. When you lose a life, you lose access to 1 of your 4 discs FOR THE REST OF THE EVENT - you get to choose which disc each time. Cards will be assigned a starting order and sent off in groups. Once you are out of lives, you are eliminated from the event. Last player standing wins!
