Disc golf is growing so quick! I just wish the pro/elite players would see the real need of change...that new sponsors outside of DG manufacturers would greatly benefit the growth of this game.
We keep circling back into the same patterns and same pools of money, never actually growing the game outside of itself. The sport needs to bring in larger brands/logos like the sport did with Bushnell (disc golf and hunting brand working together). We need to bring in more companies like them to grow this sport outside of its own circle, maybe some better shoe deals, maybe some sporting jerseys (not a shitty dri-fit jersey), drink/food sponsors... anything really.
Our sport will flatline if we don't keep the wheels turning and seek outside assistance/big time sponsors
