It is not unreasonable for parks to have a greens fee for dg events. We use an estimated 185 acres of property at our park for disc golf. The park dedicates resources to mow and make improvements to our courses, they make shelters available for our use for events without additional costs, they do not require costly permits for our partners, charge per course rental fees or any other fees. Further, the FC provides a dedicated shelter with amenities and food services to all TDs at no cost. We’ve worked with our park over the years to keep fees low. Most weekdays and nearly 5 full months each year our park doesn’t collect any gate fees for casual players and visitors. Overall having been in partnership with our park for 15 years we are very fortunate to still have a complex this size with all the work involved and for just a few dollars per player.
