Hello Everyone! While the MFA really wanted to return to Bear Cave this year, the status of the course has been a constant question mark. Drew Wilson and the wonderful RADGA group have been in contact with us all season trying to make this a reality. Unfortunately, the city hasn't held up their end of the original agreement, and won't even grant us permission to do clean up ourselves. While it's borderline, we just don't think the shape of the course is appropriate for an event. We want everyone to have fun, and playing through overgrown fairways with downed trees just isn't fun. The 46th MN State Championship will go on as planned, but we will only be playing at Driftless. Again, Drew and the RADGA crew are coming up with a fun additional layout at Driftless so that we can switch things up between rounds and keep it fun. I'll post more info on that soon.
