Hello Everyone!! Thank you for your registrations to the event. Here is your "player Meeting" notes:
Friday: Course Opens at Noon for anyone and everyone to come set up camp and enjoy the day evening. I have invited Orion's siblings (the golden retrievers) to come and play at the farm as Thursday is their 1st birthday! You may see a few extra goldens hanging out for a while! Waldo and I are providing some brats for Friday evening (about enough for 15-20 people).
We can set up a glow round for Friday. Jeff Showers and a few are setting up to do some light painting I believe at night, also!
Campers: you can park by your campsite if there is room, I prefer to try and get as many cars parked out by the entrance/parking lane but I also understand the convenience of storage in the car etc. Sat morning, I will ask all vehicles are out by the parking area for the day and night Sat night for MVP Space Race!
Saturday: We are starting the 1st round at 10 am Asking everyone to be at tourney central by 9:30 check in and player packs.
After Lunch and 2nd round, we will have awards and dinner. Ribs and Chicken Legs and Thighs on the Smoker!! Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass for sides and dessert, please!
After the dinner, I am setting up lights and glow round stuff for Ace Race! I plan to start that at about 8PM. Prizes for the Space Race will be handed out after everyone is finished, so finsih the round then go get lost in the woods.
Sunday is another Ace Race - but scored differently than the MVP version. I will explain each and have cards for all.
Enter the property from Northside Drive. I will have a sign at the entrance - It Glows!! Follow the lower grass path (do not drive into the field) and take a right at the first basket you see (hole 18 green) . Then take a right at the next place you (Hole 13) can and that will bring you to tournament cental You will be camping anywhere you can find room off the fairways, Lots of space.
On FB event page, I will post an overhead picture of the course and entrance.
I plan to make some breakfast from the farm fresh eggs above and some Jimmy Dean Sage sausage and some flour tortillas each morning. Feel free to bring some bacon or other additive for breakfasat - I will have my blackstone.
