I was with Bob and watched the community spirit evaporate. The rigors of MA3 were too much for our card mates. Zero understanding of the fact that we were near by in the shade waiting for the published start time of 1:30. We could have easily caught up but they were unwilling to even discuss it. Sep 28
Dan Pancoast Sep 28Published start time in the app was 1:15. Start was yelled at 1:17.
Daniel LaRocca Sep 28Sorry that happened to you. Don’t take it out on the event. It’s an amazing player pack and awesome raffles. A lot of effort was put into putting on this event.

Sorry the rigors of reading comprehension were too much for you. We checked with tournament officials when you weren't at the starting hole on time, and they instructed us to begin and score you and Robert par plus four, as outlined in the PDGA official rules (see 1.05 in the competition manual and 811 F 4 in the PDGA rule book). We told you you were welcome to join us, but you decided not to and left.
It's your responsibility to know your tee time and arrive on time, but, sure, blame your card mates for your mistake.

You guys did a great job and I totally appreciate the effort. Minor oversight could have been corrected in ten minutes with a minor inconvenience to our card mates. Sorry to complain but I was very much looking forward to another great round but left with a sour taste.
Chris Young Sep 28I was going off the the disc golf scene schedule, and your spiteful response is similar to your greeting on the course. Courtesy is a pillar of the sport.

I didn't say a word to you on the course, so what you're saying holds no water. You were the one who said it wasn't our fault and then hopped on the internet to blame us for something we have no control over. I get your frustration, but courtesy goes both ways, which means being on time for your tee time. You could have joined us on 18, finished out, then checked with the TD to see if you could replay 15, 16, and 17, but you decided to leave.

All due respect, but there’s complaints about 70 out of 72 registered players making it back for round 2 on time???
Sorry, but those numbers clearly state the issue is with the 2, and not the TD.
Rules are rules, follow them or take your +4 and shhhhh.
Chris Young Sep 28Thanks for the clarification but shhhhh is not all due respect. I have nothing but respect for the td
