We have a month to go. Think of it this way also. If you sign up, we would be up to 58. J/K. I don't think the last A Tier has anything to do with anything. It has been a large trend all over the Midwest that later sign ups happen. I am not concerned at this point with the 57.

Blackhawk is still being played by A pool. I think a bigger factor is the flood of A Tiers within a month of Oklahoma Open...Keeper of the Chains, 4SO, Nevada, Coral Fall Classic, Buffalo Run, Arkansas Masters...that's a lot of action and competition!!! Add to that the cost of living these days, A-Tiers aren't special anymore.

Between the inexplicable change to a TD team that was previously doing a good job and maybe playing one round at long-beloved Blackhawk, while two (or all three!) rounds move to a course with a reputation for subpar maintenance, OO has gone from a must-play to a difficult decision. People who care about A-Tiers are excited to have more, and very disappointed to see good ones decline.

Full disclosure - we haven't made up our minds on whether we're going to make the road trip, but playing a single round at Blackhawk is unfortunately giving us pause. I know nothing about Postoak, but it does mean learning a second course I don't know which is at least one more day of practice / travel / expenses, etc, in addition to the uncertainty of not knowing if Postoak is worth the roadtrip.
