Week 28 on the short reds was nothing short of electric. In the Open division, Dylan Kaut and Chris Lachendro went toe-to-toe, both shredding the layout with jaw-dropping -14 (52) rounds. Neither gave an inch, and they shared the crown with matching dominance. Over in Advanced, Jesse Kummer rose above the field with a deadly consistent -12 (54), outpacing the chasers and walking away with the win.
The spotlight, though, fell squarely on the Intermediate division, where the story of the week unfolded. Molly Moore, Eric Lachendro, and Bryan Schultz all blistered the course with matching -11 (55) rounds to tie for the top. But Molly stole the night in unforgettable fashion — smashing an ace on Hole 15, sending shockwaves across the course and cashing in a massive $69 payday. The gallery buzzed, and her shot instantly became a league legend.
Not to be overlooked, the Recreational division crowned Jeremy Leazier, who calmly navigated the short reds to finish with a commanding -9 (57). And on top of it all, Brett Say showed precision under pressure, parking Hole 12 to collect the $14 CTP prize.
