We are raising the ratings line between the RED and WHITE division to 900, more in-line with PDGA division between MA3 and MA2, and such that the RED division has larger field of competition. For those that registered for the WHITE pool that may drop to RED we will confirm with you whether you would like to move at check-in.
Round 1 will be 19 holes at Madison Meadows. tee off near ~9:15AM
Player pack pickup and Lunch will be at Lombard Commons at the Gazebo
near hole 5.
Round 2 will be 22 holes at Lombard Commons. tee off near ~1PM
Typically we move fast and are done by 3:30pm!
This is an unsanctioned tournament, all divisions have trophies and
cash payouts, plus we have $250 added cash spread across all division
payouts!
Registration is open on Discgolfscene & helps us get a headcount for
lunch or you can bring cash Sunday morning - $40 cash or electronic
payment will cover everything.
You can trim down your cost by opting out of player pack, opt out of
lunch, opt out of ace & CTP prizes, and 2025 tagholders receive a
discount!
We cannot accept credit/debit cards for any payments.
Scoring will be using UDISC app.
Round 1 Madison Meadows 19 holes will have a modified layout due to football.
Generally on/across path is OB, in pond surrounded by water is OB, in the playfields, fences, and/or painted lines of other activity areas is OB. Out of park is OB, street curbs are OB. Gazebo and roof is OB.
Hole 3 has dropzone for OB tee shots.
Hole 5 is removed.
Hole 6 tee on the path at the curve. Distance reduced ~100 feet, but should reduce how much we wait for walkers.
Hole 7 tee on the path about ~100ft left of normal teepad, changing our angle to the basket should reduce the possibility of errant shots toward football spectators. No islands, no mandos.
Hole 11 path is in-bounds. Play to temp basket set up ~225 feet to the left of normal basket, between baseball fields. no mandos.
Hole 15 tee on the 19 long teepad to a temp basket ~150ft left of normal basket.
Hole 16 tee from temp tee area on hill above 15's normal basket.
Hole 19 over the water, has dropzone for OB tee shots, path is in-bounds.
After hole 19 we will have a temporary hole near the gazebo to make up for removal of hole 5.
We will have signs and flags directing you where to tee from and which teepads we are not using.
Round 2 Lombard commons, 11 holes twice through for 22 holes.
Generally on/across path is OB, in the playfields, fences, and/or painted lines of other activity areas is OB. Out of park is OB, street curbs are OB. Gazebo and bathroom shelter and roofs are OB.
Double mandatory on 7 and 11 in play both times.
Hole 9 second time play to practice basket, mando right of the tree at the path about halfway down to protect path and 10's teepad.
