Copy of Recap Email sent out at 9:55am MST on 9/3/25:
Good morning everyone!
I hope that you made it home safely from the first ever Power Disc Golf Academy Championship Series Finale! The event was spectacular, and I have several people to thank before I can recap the event.
First, I want to thank David Bibiano and Power Disc Golf Academy for allowing me to create, organize, and host this Series. It's been a blast, and I can't wait to see how the Series grows in the coming years. I love the mission of the Power Disc Golf Academy, and I am honored to be a part of the impact they've had on improving the sport.
I want to thank our amazing Series sponsors Discraft, Loot, and Encore Custom for supporting the Series from the beginning and providing merchandise and apparel throughout the Series. I was blown away by the player pack items they made for us for the Finale, and the Series couldn't have been possible without their support. If you enjoyed your player pack items, please go to their websites, purchase some items, and show them some love and support. If you liked the apparel that the GP Team was repping during the event, Encore opened up a new store for you to purchase those items. Check them out here: https://pdgachampionshipevents.itemorder.com/shop/home/
I want to thank our additional sponsors and vendors: Panama Jack, Geoff Suk (Cake Pops) Disc Golf Threads, MINT Discs, 1st Phorm, Wild Side Disc Golf, All Night Innovations, Gateway Discs, Old Men Disc Golf, The Jay Davidson Family, and Lost & Dyed! Thank you for showing up and supporting the event!
I want to give a huge thank you to BZ Strick and Bogey Free Club for creating the trophies for the event! Bogey Free has been supporting disabled veterans for years, and has an amazing mission to create opportunities that restore purpose, build community, and promote long term healing through physical activity and shared experiences. If you believe in their mission or loved their trophies, please DONATE HERE or reach out for trophies for your own events! Every donation goes to a great cause. Bogey Free has agreed to donate trophies to every 2-round Qualifying Event for the 2026 Series and for the 2026 Series Finale!!
I want to thank the Tournament Directors from around the country that hosted an event! The 41 of them organized 56 events and hosted 2,200 players. Each of them jumped on board without knowing me, but believed in the mission to grow and improve our sport. It was so special to meet and spend time with so many of them this weekend. This event or Series would never have gotten off of the ground without them!
I want to thank every player, caddy, family member, and spectator for taking the time to travel to Eagles Crossing for the event. Thank you for believing in our event, and thank you for spending your time, money, vacation, and energy to travel to the event. It was wonderful meeting all of you, and I can't wait to see you guys next year! I hope it was the best event you've ever played.
I want to thank Philip, Miga, Ashley, Mike, and the rest of the crew at Eagles Crossing for creating and maintaining the best disc golf property in the world! It was an honor to host an event at such an amazing venue. I hope the property was as mind blowing to all of you as it was to me when I visited. We will be back at Eagles Crossing for two weekends in 2026!!
I want to thank Ace Run Pro for attending and filming the event! The first two rounds of coverage have already been uploaded to their page! Check them out HERE.
Finally, I need to thank the GP Team - Jace, Trevor, Eric, Jacob, Calvin, Keaton, Nicole, and Alex - for helping me staff and run the event all weekend! Everyone took time off of their full time jobs to work 14+ hour days to keep the event running. I also want to thank the volunteers - Curvin, Cannonball, Tanner, Craig, Hampton, Richard, Mr. Hand, and so many others for your help during the event! I am honored to work with the best team in the world. When Jace and I created Goose Promotions in 2022, our goal was to create a positive and fun atmosphere where players can share their favorite hobby with each other. My personal goal in life is to put a smile on the face of every person I meet. It was so rewarding to see how much fun everyone was having and I will cherish the kind words, compliments, and thanks that I received from you this weekend.

Each of you won an invitation/sponsorship for Team Power! You'll receive a contract and additional information soon.
Payouts/Prizes:
Pro payouts were awarded in cash during the event or were sent out via PayPal on 9/1/25. If you did not receive your payout, please contact me.
Amateur payouts were in the form of on-site merchandise during the event. About 95% of you picked up your payouts, but if you didn't please contact me. Per PDGA rules, we will ship you your payout (minus the cost of shipping) since we do not operate an online store.
Event Photos:
Nicole is preparing a separate email with photos and videos from the event! Please share them online and tag the Power Disc Golf Academy Championship Series, Power Disc Golf Academy, and Goose Promotions in your post! We've loved seeing the various posts you guys have put together!
2026 Power DGA Series:
The 2026 Power DGA Series will begin in late October 2025 and events will run until late June 2026. The next Finale will be split into 2 weekends, with different divisions on each weekend. Right now, we are looking at September 11-13 and September 18-20 as our weekends but it will be finalized after the A-tier schedule is released in early November.
Now that we've wrapped up the first Series, I want to make the 2026 Series even more fun! We are adding a Points Series, Ace Pool, a Player Pack Store, and trophies for every event! With that being said, we are going to need more events and more Tournament Directors to help this project grow. I know many of you had to travel several hours to play a Qualifying Event, so one of my goals for 2026 is that every competitor that wants to earn a spot in the Finale has a Qualifying Event near them.
If any of you would like to host a 2026 Qualifying Event, please fill out the survey HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdqDtAwYvm3UK32rQ4SLONkeOVgiXhjqsJJAw856gxv_bo_ZQ/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=101479353662914176809.
You do not need any previous TD experience. I personally train and communicate with every TD before, during, and after their events. It is my goal as the Series Coordinator to make these events the easiest events you've ever hosted!
Thank you again for participating in the first ever Power Disc Golf Academy Championship Series Finale! Last weekend was incredible, and I hope that each of you had as much fun as I did. Thank you to everyone who sent over birthday wishes! I appreciate you guys showing up for the biggest birthday party I've ever thrown. Can't wait to see you guys next year!
Best,
