Hi ladies! I went out to Cuscowilla today. Please note that the information flyer has been modified. (modifications are underlined) The main change to note is that we will play 3 matches in AM and 2 in the afternoon.
We will only play the front 9 holes for all matches. The average hole length is about 230 feet. A useful hint, from my perspective, is shaping your shot will be more important than trying to throw far.
I recommend bug spray - I will bring some to share. I did not get bit and did not have any ticks on me, but I sprayed my ankles well and wore mid-calf white socks to help protect.
The Chain Hawk Club has provided some funds for food and water & Gatorade. I will have enough hotdogs and chips for everyone, including caddies. (It would be helpful to let me know if you have a caddy joining us)
For those staying over in the cabin, I plan to have a casserole-type meal to share for the first night. Also, the cabin will be made available to everyone throughout day of the event for bathroom and cooling off. :) Can't wait to see you all! PS - there's room for more teams if you know others who may want to play (we have one free agent at this time who will be added to a team - or another team created if others sign up...)
