This is not an official response, but my understanding is that you must win (or place high enough) in an official NADGT event, to receive an invite. If you win a PDGA event (and congrats to you for doing so!), but it is not an NADGT event, that does not earn you an invite. Again, I am not an official, but that's my understanding of how it works.
