If anyone has played these courses before and they’re willing to share anything about them, that would be cool! Woods golf? Long bomber shots? Technical?
I’d take anything. Thanks! Aug 21

Looks like you are MA2. Neither course has extremely long holes from the tees you will be playing, and the ones that are longer are quite open. Both have several wooded holes that require precise shots, Red Tail more so. Red Tail overall is a longer course. Both have a lot of up and down, Holes 3 and 4 at WJ have very large elevation gain/loss, as well as a long uphill to the tee for 6. Neither are cart friendly. Quite often there are trees close to the baskets that can complicate your stance when putting, so practice your straddle putts. Red Tail has rubber tee pads except for a few forward tees that there are just on the ground so stance can be wonky. At WJ we are just finalizing turf tee pads on all holes. A few of them are not quite flat front to back just because of the terrain you are throwing from, however it is minor.
Bring plenty of mosquito repellent, the weather looks sunny and warm enough that they might not be as bad, but morning rounds especially might be swarming.
Kevin King Aug 21MA2 plays the long tees at both courses, FYI.
Robert Vander Pyl Aug 21Nice, hole 6 at WJ and hole 1 at RT will be a lot more challenging then.
