Am I correct in assuming this is match play (wins, losses, ties)?

So there’s up to 6 points available per team vs team matchup? For example, if my card-1 pairing wins but my card-2 pairing ties, we’d get 4 points?
How do we do the pairing for cards? Would one team get to see the others’ pairings first? Seems like we should have to submit card 1 pairings and card 2 pairings without the other side knowing.
