Hey guys and gals; James and I have begun replacing the broken baskets on the old 18. So far we have replaced 2, 3, and 9. Plans are to get a few done per day before the heat knocks us out. We are getting new locks and covering them with plastic to keep the sand and water out.
Other items being considered for the course:
(1) To take four of these baskets for the "Horseshoe" pit area.
(2) Hopefully we can get something rolling on the pavilion and storage, this is in the planning stage.
(3) Moving the rocks from the new tee box area on hole 8 to the front area by the parking lot and taking the landscape ties and using them around the base of the tee pad at hole 8.
(4) Repositioning and widening the gate by the bulletin board.
(5) Finishing up the bottom step area by the proposed pavilion area.
(6) We still need benches on some of the "Deep 9" holes.
(7) Some tee areas on the "Deep 9" need framing and sand.
Let's have a quick brainstorming session at leagues to set another work day (maybe Sunday, July 18 or Sunday, July 25).
Anyone with a video camera should bring it and shoot the course (Action and work shots). I have the capability of editing and stitching multiple videos and we can have a nice video to post here on Disc Golf Scene.
