The margin of victory issue, IMO, needs to be tinkered with.
Bob, I hear you on your example of Team A shooting 4 winning rounds with a small margin of victory but that could have been because they just made enough to beat a team that missed a lot of shots while another team may have had a better shooting percentage earning a wider margin of victory.
I like the points awarded for victories.
Why not 2 points for each win and a point deducted for a loss?
Counting all made baskets to speed up games WILL definitely be implemented.
I am going to adjust my paperwork and have the scoring sheets read Red Aces vs. Black Aces as opposed to Team 1 vs. Team 2, etc...
I am also going to use PowerPoint and have one game per slide, bigger fonts, more consistent with what Brian and Rooster were writing down.
Another thing to consider is possibly splitting up the nights during the week knowing most people cannot play 2 nights a week but one night might fit in better than another. For instance, Thursday nights work better for me than Mondays. I can always propose the idea to Sunnybrook we would just need a Monday night champion. I am also thinking that we're not just talking the league but now "we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice." We could suggest practice to Sunnybrook and see if they are willing to open up the room and set up the baskets for practice. Now, some of you might want to know "How the he[[ can I make my teammates better by practicing?" Well, I could suggest that we have the baskets set up at 4:30 for those who want to get there early on league night or maybe another time and day all together. Thoughts???
