I have pulled as many players in as I can. With the threat of rain this weekend I cant add more tee times but I did max out the times I could. If you are still on the waitlist I will need someone from your division to drop to promote you in. Tee times will start at 7:40 and run until 3:30.
I have the board set sitting on Draft. I will post it this evening so you can see your starting time for the weekend.
New position for 18 this weekend. We decided we wanted to see the spot Carl likes for an additional placement based on 2 things. And honestly these 2 are the most important parts of design maybe. Safety and what we are allowed to do with the parks permission. We will be adding 75 feet straight back to the hole and elevating it to about 4 feet again similar to what you would see at the DGPT. This will definitely challenge the upshot and add some separation in scoring. And again we are limited in some options. I think it will make a nice small change.
We do plan to have this out for the flex tomorrow. I'd like to give you the chance to throw it before the weekend and it will allow me to check the position in case we missed something. This position will not be left up over night so you must catch it during the day tomorrow if you want to see it before the event. It is flagged currently
With this and the weekend weather I have also decided that MA2/MA40 will just play all BLUES. We had talked long 12 and 18 for them but with adding the distance on 18 and chance of rain I felt it was best.
Now Basket #2 and ironically it's a second basket! Hazy Shade and Carl have teamed up to improve this amazing park just a little more with the addition of a second practice basket. We know it can get a little crowded over there sometimes and this will help.
Can't thank Carl Chiles enough for all he does out there. We are lucky to have both him and a beautiful park to play in. See you this weekend!
