it prevents backups to have the order be best to last in multi division tournaments, I have played some events where ma1 or mpo are last and then been stuck behind fa2 and the round took 2 hours longer than it should have

Yea usually the big events is ladies FPO earlier in the day and MPO later. Just still seeing that as a competitor that also does some spectating also when not playing. The option is usually... if I play early spectating MPO is possible.. play later and watching FPO is possible.

If I may chime in here... As an MA60 player, I love the early tee off for our division. It's nice and cool, especially in the hotter months. If we played last it would make it more than challenging for some of us. And besides that, has the existing order at tournaments been a problem? If it has been, I haven't seen it. In fact, I do everything to keep my card moving forward to stay on pace. I probably don't have a vote, but if I did it would be... If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
