I am sorry, but there is ZERO chance that this course should rated anywhere NEAR as high as Earle Brewer Park....let alone the fact that it is rated HIGHER than Brewer. The holes here are MUCH shorter, plus Brewer has dual tee pads for most holes, is GROOMED infinitely better and is not swarming with mosquitoes all summer long like Johnson Park is. Rating Brewer as #82 in the state may be accurate, I have no way to really debate that, but NO WAY is Johnson Park better is anyway.....no way no how, not a chance. It was a complete joke that JOHNSON was included in the 2024 AM Worlds. How did that happen, while one of the best courses in the area, HAMMOND HILLS get left completely out of the tournament? A poor decision in my opinion, and also in many tournament players opinion as well. Should the Grand Rapids area ever attempt to host a MAJOR again.....PLEASE keep that in mind. This is a "C Tier" level course with beginner to novice level skill needed/difficulty. PREPARE to get eaten alive by mosquitoes ! (Bring Deep Woods "OFF" with you for sure. I rate this course a C - on the BEST day
