Sunday's tee times will begin later than Friday and Saturday, probably beginning at 11am. The Rock'n'Roll Half-Marathon will use Pershing Drive, which will be closed from 5:15am to 10:30am. This effectively closes the Morley Field Parking lot. We know that there will be ways to access Balboa Park, as the SD Zoo has confirmed that they will open at their regular time of 9am. We have reached out to the Marathon folks to help us identify routes in to Morley Field. It is likely that tee times before noon-1pm will want to park in the lot between the archery field and the softball fields. We think the best route to reach this lot will be to enter Balboa Park via Park Drive, head north to take a left onto Morley Field Drive, and enter the Morley Sports Complex parking lots near the Balboa Tennis Club. FREEWAY OFF-RAMPS TO PERSHING DRIVE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL NOON. We will post a map and directions of the recommended way to get to Morley Field once we hear back from the Marathon folks. No matter what the solution is, EXPECT THAT THE ROAD CLOSURES WILL ADD 45-60 MINUTES TO YOUR TRIP.
