Don’t forget that asking the volunteer committee to plan for two weekends is double their work and planning. If you don’t get a spot, consider signing up to volunteer, can still enjoy an amazing weekend and play the courses in the evening. Also the waitlist will move! Easily 20 or 30 people at least I imagine!

I agree that two 3 day tournaments would be hard on the volunteers. Maybe the AM portion could be a B tier, two day event the weekend before the long weekend, with shotgun starts so it is shorter and requires fewer people to run the tournament? Also, although I don’t know how it could work, an early signup option for AM where you have to come and do a day of work doing whatever the organizers need (unskilled) labour for prior to the tournament.
