So our Youth Group is planning Par for Pets on July 21st to benefit the Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village.
We WANT to get families and new players involved so we are going to have a 9 Hole Family (New Player, teams of 4) Scramble and hopefully include 4 discs with their registration. We would prefer that the scramble groups be mostly those new to the sport, if you want an excuse to bring your spouse and kids, please do so! We just want to keep this round fair for those who have never played (in other words, we are not going to let you and four of your best disc golf buddies to register this round).
We will also have a Singles Round following the family scramble, at least 12 Holes... Lowest overall score (hopefully at or below par, hence "Par for Pets" will receive a special trophy).
This is ALL to benefit Rescue Village, and hopefully some adoptable critters will be there as well, and of course it would help out the league as well and hopefully get new players and teens involved. Please spread the word, and mark the date!
