Very few Idaho TD's and actually very few Pacific Northwest TD's (Washington/Idaho/Oregon) offered Ma-4.. In fact last year I am pretty sure Terek Worley and the Indian Creek Classic and the Triple Crown Thrown Down were the only events I was at that had Ma-4 offered. Indian Creek had 15 players in Ma-4 but didn't have a single player sign up for Ma-3 so really it was the same thing. The same guys who normally would've just played Ma-3 played down but the same # of divisions. Triple Crown offered Ma-4 but had just 4 players sign up well they had 6 players in Ma-3.. By offering only 1 division and not the others TD's save money on trophies because honestly that's the only reason not to offer it.

Hi Ken, although I appreciate Bryan trying to answer for us, the fact of the matter is that we don’t get a lot of signups for MA4 in our B-Tier events. We try to make the courses challenging which can be frustrating for novice players. However, we do offer MA4 in our C-Tier events as those events tend to be a bit more forgiving.
