Tyler Pohler came through with the trophy mini's for the first winter series. They'll look great on the ground marking your lie before your monster C2 jumper, hanging in your office for all your coworkers to fawn over, dangling from your review mirror causing everyone around you to recognize your greatness while stuck in traffic, or if you're like me, hanging on a thick braid gold chain around your neck. I replaced the league logo with the pic of the minis for people to see. Unfortunately, I can't post pics for leagues like we can for tourneys. Trophies are for the top 3 points finishers among all players regardless of pool. David and Naz, I'll get yours to you next time I see you.
B Pool recap:
B Pool was typically the largest pool of players each week and the top finishers benefited from the increased player pot. The largest payout to any singular person for a placement was Robin White on week 9 at $24 when there were 12 players in attendance. 12 out of 21 players got paid out for placement at least once. Some actually broke even or made money on the series, which is extremely difficult to do! B pool was won by 6 people this series, Mr. White (1x) mentioned above, 3 of whom are below and the other two were Mike Briseno (1x), and Chris Lowe (1x).
The top finisher for B pool was of course Allen Black. Not only does he have a very solid first name, but his net payout was in the black. The best player as far as the difference between buy-in and payout, Black took payouts totaling $80.50 which was $16.50 more than his buy-in's. Black won B pool 5 total times, and the first 4 in a row. In that first hot streak he nabbed 1st place overall twice regardless of pool. The best of which was week 4 at Kincaid when he shot a 1019 rated -10, which was the highest rated round of any player for the entire series. If he hadn't skipped the last 2 weeks of the series, he was on track to finish in the top 3 overall. Finishing 1st in B pool and 5th overall is not a bad seasons work. For the series Black shot 934 which is 19 points above his rating.
Second in B pool, 8th overall was Naz Munoz. Naz only won the pool twice, but was consistently near the top and getting paid out. Getting total payouts of $71, he only lost a buck playing leagues this series. His best rated rounds were week 2 and 6 at 941 rated, both at Westchester.
Weslee Moon took 3rd in B pool, 9th overall. Weslee also won B pool twice and was consistently at the top of the standings. Total payouts of $72 which matched his total buy-in. His best round was week 8 at the Goon which was 950 rated, 4th best B pool rated round of the series. Weslee shot 15 points better than his rating for the series.
Tyler Rus grabbed the spot just off the B pool podium with his 4th place finish, 10th overall. He didn't win any weeks but took the 4th highest accumulated payouts in B pool at $46.25. Tyler shot 899 for the league which was 9 points better than his rating. Week 9 on the Kincaid blues was his best round of the season at 927.

1. 242.5 Points - Allen Black, 8 Rounds, 934 Series Rating (+19 point rating improvement)

3. 215 - Weslee Moon, 9 Rds, 902 R (+15)
