Week 6 of the Deer Lakes League delivered fireworks once again, with tight battles, clutch shots, and a few familiar faces refusing to slow down. In the Open Division, Matt Rosier was back on a tear, shredding the course with a -9 (57) to lock in his fourth win of the season and an $18 payout. The man is on a mission.
Advanced saw Joshua Dymun continue his reign with another strong showing, firing a -2 (64) to take the win and collect $17. Over in Intermediate, Bryan Schultz came out firing, carding a smooth -5 (61) to grab his first win of the season and a cool $19. And in the Recreational Division, Brett Say kept his name at the top, grinding out a +2 (68) for another win and a $12 payout.
The ace and birdie pots remained just out of reach, but that didn’t stop players from cashing in on precision. Casey Cousins snagged the MPO/MA1 CTP for $6, while Jack Lachendro dialed it in to take the other CTP for $8. The season is picking up steam—and with every week, the pressure is mounting. Week 7 can’t come soon enough.
