Week 5 of the Deer Lakes League brought smooth conditions and fresh faces to the top of the leaderboard. Micah Beideman claimed his first win of the season in the Open Division with a steady -5 (61), earning an $18 payout and making a strong statement. In the Advanced Division, Sandro Della Valle delivered a clean -3 (63) to take the top spot and collect $14. Bailey Garman battled his way to victory in the Intermediate Division, finishing at +2 (68) and walking away with $14 of his own.
Though the ace and birdie pots remained untouched, there was still cash up for grabs. Brendon Reed locked in the MPO/MA1 CTP for $5, while Vincent Maiorana nailed the other CTP and earned $4. With five weeks in the books, the season is gaining momentum—and the leaderboard is getting more interesting by the round.
