Hi Leroy, The mp50 division initially had unlimited spots, so I'm not sure where you saw there were only 8 players at one point. I always start high and trim it down as the registrations start coming in.

The same day I registered was the day I went to sign up for the MP50 division but it was closed. My friend Kacy Schwend and I are conning from Maui and Kacy is still on the waitlist but I told him I'd go if he got in so I tried to register but because the MP50 was filled I registered for MP40 just to be in. It's my first A tier event and also first event outside of Hawaii.
