Just keeping everyone in the loop. I have updated hole 2 with the correct distance and pin placement. We will move pin to the middle pin placement. Jeromy and I also had to make a tough decision regarding hole number 12 today. After seeing the college hole and knowing there is a baseball game that day, we have decided to adjust that hole to the college hole from last year and while it is much shorter it is still pretty difficult. We made this call for safety and pace of play reasons. We wanted to have the path in play as little as possible and put the tee box on the same side as the pin to reduce waiting for walkers on the path. You can still see where the old tee pad was if playing a practice round this week. We will move the tee box as soon as we get the OK that Nationals is finished with it. We are now full at 144 players. While I do expect some drops, we have started a waitlist and we are thrilled to have a field that is not only full, but are excited to see the talent in each division battle it out on these courses.
Lastly, if you are local and can get out next week go support the college tournament and see how they tackle the course and the other courses in the area. We are blessed with having such an event in our backyard. I am sure both the players and the staff putting on this event would greatly appreciate it!
