Memories of the crooked tree on eleven! My brother and I played a couple of rounds during the time when the tree was fallen but still there. You will recall that it arched about 2 or 3 feet off the ground. On our first round I threw an errant drive that went under the arch and skipped out into the open for a long put that I missed. I told my brother that driving under the arch was my intent as it was a local player course challenge. On the second round, he reminded me of how well the first round drive positioned me for a put and suggested I accept the "challenge" again and throw under the arch. You guessed it! Another errant throw which made the arch and another missed put. Seemed like Groundhog Day. Fond memories of a fallen tree.
