James and I wrassled the teepads yesterday to a league playable level. Unless someone gets out there and finishes them off today, there may be some slush/soft ice of some of them tomorrow. But with the warm temps and sun, they should clear off with some pinpoint karate foot kicks, and maybe some top rope elbow drops.
Week 6 Recap:
James pad wrassler Robinson took it all down with his -9. There were 7 other players within 2 strokes of him trying to chase him down. 3 B pool players, and 4 A pool players at -7 or -8. Robo had a really good chance to catch -9 as well with only short basket 18 to play. Unfortunately, Sramek proudly announced before we all teed off that we were finishing on the easiest hole, strongly suggesting that birdie was inevitable by us all. So unlucky branch, shank right, shank left, and then a shot straight at it. So yea David, so freaking easy bud. Congrats to Lukas for pulling the only birdie on a card with 3 "A pool" guys. Pools are imaginary, solo birdies from BOB are legendary.
Mike B easy Briseno and Nasty Naz (not nasty at all but I lack in creativity) split B pool with their -8s. Both had one bogey each. B looks like he started pretty hot with a quick 4 birdies in a row before cooling off and then re-finding his mojo and finishing with a turkey. Munoz just spread out his birdies across his round.
C pool swung on the final hole. C pool legend Lukas birdied his final hole, and I think Eli might have bogey'd his final hole. Not sure on that tho. Regardless it was tight down to the final hole.
Robo, Dan, and Purpero all went bogey free. James had the most Birdies with 10. Nobody got a double bogey.
Hole 17 played the easiest???? I'm pretty sure that's a first. It's certainly not a hard hole but we had 13 birdies and 6 pars for a 68% birdie rate. Way to go team! Hole 18 played second easiest, but we can thank freaking David Sramek for that gem. 11 birdies. Hole 15 was way down the list and not even half of us go the birdie on it. Strange things out there last week.
4, 3, and 10 all played over par. Hole 10 had xero (p1x shoutout) birdies. Dan, Mikey B, James, and yes even Sramek all birdied hole 3. Only Mr. Lefty Spectacular Black got the birdie on hole 4.
See you at Kincaid Saturday, get your Vemno in ASAP. Next time at the goon we'll go XL.
