Good evening,
We have been monitoring weather conditions through numerous reputable weather providers throughout the day. The current forecast shows scattered storm potential during the day, with more broad and severe storms in the afternoon and evening.
As of this time, we will proceed with the event with a few adjustments to the schedule. An additional update will be sent out on Friday afternoon.
Check in will begin at 7:00AM and Tee Off will occur promptly at 8:15AM. Please plan accordingly.
The event will follow PDGA policies and rules for severe weather. Please keep this in mind.
Regarding the PDGA policy, stoppage of play must occur if lightning is within 15 miles of the course. Play must stop for 30 minutes from each lightning strike that is within 15 miles. This must be determined through a detection app or service, not by seeing lightning with our eyes.
Lastly, the PDGA refund policy is in place here. If there are people on the waitlist, we will provide a full refund. If not and you are in an Amateur division, then you will be offered a player pack or partial refund.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
