Week 3 Recap:
Black and James are continuing their hot shooting. Neither has finished worse than 3rd place overall through the first 3 weeks of the series. So yea they are leading the points series with James at 97.5, and Black with 95.
In C pool for the first time all winter possibly we had three players in C pool. But regardless, some dude named Lukas keeps taking the top spot and the cash. Jeremy won the pool by 7 strokes. 7 more weeks and we'll have to figure out a trophy of domination. Julia made a showing as well taking 2nd place and a little money in her pocket.
B pool was led again by Black. No surprise, he's trying to get into tourney season form it seems. But he should take a page from New Zealander Francis Orange and throw only black discs. But taking 1st place every week probably means he doesn't need any commentary from me. The only podium spot in jeopardy was 2nd where Weslee got in there edging out Bee.
A pool led the way for everyone with Killian's -8, 47, and James' -7, 48. Both great scores after a long hiatus from Kincaid. I guess they had no trouble switching back over to distance drivers after a long winter at Westchester. Killian's score was nearly 1000 rated at 994 and is the highest rated round of this winter series. His other claim to fame is birdying 7-10 (and being the only bogey on hole 4 ;) ). Not shabby at all. James had the most birdies on the day with 11.
Nobody went bogey free for their round. And only three players (Scott, Morgan, and Dan) escaped with a single bogey stroke.
Easiest hole on the day in regards to par was hole 4 with 10 birdies and .39 strokes under par on average. Hole 1 wasn't too far behind at .33 strokes under par and 9 birdies. Which honestly is amazing. I think that yellow basket is hard to get.
Not too surprising holes 11 and 6 were the hardest. Hole 11 was .67 over par, ZERO birdies, and 3 double bogey+. Hole 6 was .44 over par and also ZERO birdies. Those were the only 2 holes to go birdie free.
Get your Venmo in for tomorrow. Cards may be assigned by rating. We'll see what the field looks like.
