With the overwhelming number of responses to the XL layout, all 2 of you. We'll move forward with a layout change! So it looks like the layout for week 3 will be short pads to yellow baskets. Come on, you can figure that out right?
Week 2 recap:
Black continues his hot play and took down overall best score at -9, while leading B pool for the second consecutive week. He did it all bogey free as well, one of three to do so this week. B pool may be where all the good players are these days cuz Naz while only finishing at -7, had the most birdies of anyone with 10. Nice job B pool.
A pool was led by James with his -8, his solo birdie on hole 3 just adds to his aura. Dan and Dave (non-Olympic versions) nipped at his heals with our -7s. Big Ds were the other two guys to go bogey free. Speaking of A pool old guys, good ol Morgan was the only one to birdie hole 1. Which makes absolutely no sense at all. How do two of you birdie the hard basket on 1 (hole 10), but only one of ya'll can get the shorter basket. You all crazy for sure.
C pool had competition. First time in forever. Lukas decided to put his foot down and continue to claim C pool as his own notching his second win in as many weeks. But we'll give Wright some props for his birdie on 15 and one upping Lukas on that score.
Easiest hole on the day was 18 with it's ten birdies. Second was 6 with eight birdies, followed closely by fifteen also with 8 birdies (but one bogey). Isn't fifteen a weird number to write? You'd think it would be fifthteen. But now I'm overthinking it and have no clue how to pronounce it. Should stick to 15 going forward.
Hardest hole was 19. Shocking eh? Our first ever league XL hole (as long as I've been a part of leagues at least). There were 7 bogeys, and 3 double bogeys. But 2 birdies! Scott was the first to take it down and then Robin came thru and hit a short c2 putt to nail his birdie. I claim best drive tho, with worst attempt at an upshot however. oh well
