You are receiving this email because you are registered to play in the 37th Annual Indy Ice Bowl this Sunday at Brookside Park at 11:00 AM. This is the finale of our winter charity series. Last year, we set a 30-year record by raising $4,375 for the St. Vincent de Paul food bank, located just across the street from the Washington Park disc golf course on E 30th St. This year, we are close to breaking $4K again. Thank you to the volunteers: Kevin, Adam, Vic, Russ, Aaron, Seth, Eric, the Beavs, Peter P, and your friends at Disc Golf Mart. Thank you to the Lawrence Disc Golf Club and Hamilton Disc Golf Union for organizing NYD worst shot at Fall Creek. Thank you to everybody who participated in any of our charity events this year.

Tournament HQ will be the shelter near Holes #6/#7 in the NE corner of Brookside park. Mandatory player check-in by 10:40 AM at the shelter. Mandatory player meeting at 10:45 AM at the shelter. Tee at 11:00 AM. Hole assignments will be published on a physical player board at the shelter and will be finalized at the time of the player meeting. Score will be kept using UDisc similar to a league event. Players will check-in on UDisc and select the correct division prior to starting play.
lunch, disc auction, disc swap
Some water and gatorade will be available at the shelter for players. Following the round, we will be breaking food together at the shelter with beef chili as the main course. We are also excited to announce the return of the Ice Bowl disc auction - a longtime tradition missing in recent years - to raise additional $ for the food bank. If you have any un-or-lightly-used discs gathering dust at home, please consider bringing on Sunday to donate to the auction. Adam & Jerry will be your auctioneers; cash or PayPal accepted during the auction. Finally, we will also be having a disc swap following the round for any players that want to bring Frisbees from their personal stashes to trade with others. Swapping discs after Ice Bowl was a lot of fun last year, and it was cool to see some rare ones.
Huge thank you to everybody who has already donated discs for us to auction.
mulligans, side contests
If you purchased the optional $5 Mulligan (x2) package during event registration, you receive two total mulligans to use during play: one tee shot Mulligan (for any throw off the tee) and one non-tee shot Mulligan (for any putt/approach/throw that is not a tee shot). For players who purchased the optional $5 Side Contest Package during event registration, the 50/50 Cash CTP will be Hole #6. If no Ace is hit in standard play, a CTP result will be used to award the Ace Pool. If you did not purchase a mulligan or side contest package during online registration, you may still do so during check-in provided that you bring exact cash.

Professional divisions will be paid out via PayPal using the G&S transaction designation within 2 days of event completion. Amateur divisions will be paid out via electronic vouchers from your friends at Disc Golf Mart. Voucher amounts will be attached to your name within DGM's point-of-sale system. Players can redeem vouchers at the park after the event, in-store at DGM's retail location at 8235 Center Run Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46250, or online. Redeeming in-store will have the largest selection of merchandise available to you. Thanks to Disc Golf Mart for supporting our leagues and tournaments.
