Hey everyone, due to an existing event being scheduled at Walnut Creek we will be making a location change for Ice Bowl XXI. We wrongly assumed the park wouldn't be in use, as has been the case for the last handful of years, and when attempting to book the shelter we realized our error. Guess there are other crazy folks like us who wanna be outside in the middle of winter! After working out some details with the board, we decided the best change would be to move the event to Meadowcreek Gardens for the same date as scheduled, February 8th.
All the usual details of the event will remain the same (two 18-hole rounds, mulligans, chili and sandwiches for lunch, and, of course, donating to our local food bank), but some practical details (layouts, extra parking, weather plans, etc) will shift around. Those extra details will be communicated in the coming weeks.
I fully realize this breaks the last few years of tradition - though I've heard rumors of previous Ice Bowls happening at Meadowcreek, so maybe not, eh? - but I know we still have a great kickoff to our 2025 season in front of us!
