Although I am new to this sport, I believe the rating processes is seriously flawed. It depends far more on how well the remainder of the field plays, rather than your individual performance. When you can have a better second round, and have a rating drop of 30 points from the first round, it should indicate a problem. You played the same course, same weather conditions...others just improved far more that you did on the second round. I don’t have a better option, I just don’t put a lot in store on the ratings. Looking forward to the event and hope I can attend.
