Tournament layout is mostly set. 3 will be moved to the A-pin for the day of the event; I cannot lock the basket to the anchor currently. I will attempt to move 4 to the A-pin tomorrow; the anchor cover was stuck so I need to pry it off. Legacy 1-18, all purple tees to purple baskets. Further notes will follow on another comment.
Greenspring Avenue is out of bounds. The defining line is the TOP of the concrete gutter, at its interface with grass/dirt. The Zoo Hospital is out of bounds. The defining line is the vertical plane defined by the bottom of the chain link fence. In both cases, if you are out of bounds, play standard OB rules per 806.02.
No mandatories on the course are in effect. No other areas sometimes played as out of bounds (e.g. Jones Falls trail, cemetery, Crows Nest Rd, Three Sisters Rd, Hillway Ln, fenced ponds) are in effect. This is because I don't want to walk the perimeter of all of those things and paint, flag, or otherwise take the time to make a definitive line, or to verify that mandatories are clearly marked and have associated drop zones. These obstacles not being in effect does NOT authorize players to make unsafe throwing decisions: wait for landing zones and flight paths to be clear, particularly of non-disc golf park users, before throwing.
Should your disc come to rest in-bounds, but in a lie determined by your group to not have a legal stance--for example, underneath a vehicle--play as a "Casual Area" per 806.03 with up to 1 meter of relief on the line of play behind the obstacle.
Hole assignments will be posted shortly after registration closes on Tuesday night. If you need to drop, send a refund request through DGScene; all will be honored until registration closes. Please check in on Wednesday morning according to the schedule on DGScene. If you are running late, send an e-mail to fish58320 at gmail dot com. I will not hold the start of the tournament for you. I have already received two requests for cardmates; I refer you to CM1.06B.
"Side Action" is an optional add-on during registration. I will not be taking buy-ins for that in person; if you want to do it, please do so online. This consists of:
$2 ace pot
16 $1 CTPs (closest to the pin on your drive; all holes except 1 & 13)
2 $1 Longest Putts (must be a make for birdie, holes 1 and 13)
