Hey Derek! Sorry about the delay in response. Normally, if you're on the waitlist and registration closes. It's unlikely that you will get into the event. For some events such as tournaments you may be able to show up the day of and get in if someone doesn't show. Feel free to reach out to either MIguel and I if you have any other questions :)
