Correct. You may use the +1 tee shot advantage on any one remaining hole and do not need to declare in advance. The +1 tee shot is for either player but not both. To acquire the advantage, though, you must declare that you are hunting Wild Turkey after completing the first birdie but before attempting any shot for the second birdie.
