to be fair it is a fundraiser event (0 added cash), and will probably be a C tier. For the people who live closer to houston (A lot of people), they might rather attend a tournament at a closer, brand new course with added cash.

I dont disagree with you, but those are pdga tournament rules in relation to proximity of events. if NCC does move to a c-tier there would be no issue, but since its already approved as a b tier, proximity applies, so ultimatley the state coordinator would have to make that call. *from my understanding and the competition manual.
